Sending cards has started to become obsolete in recent years, but I know how much I enjoy receiving them and I know my friends share that same joy. Making homemade cards is super easy, given you have the materials. I’ll show you something that you can easily do on your own!
What you’ll need:
Blank card and envelope (or use cardstock to make your own)
Scrap paper
Markers
Glue
Scissors
Paint/Coffee (not needed, but makes it pretty)
Let’s get started!
First, figure out what you want your card to look like. I decided I wanted to do some simple circles and pointed ovals that I decorate to look like flowers and leaves.
Take your paint (or coffee) and start painting your background. I just did a light layer of coffee to offset the colors briefly. And because it was really good coffee and I wanted to drink it.
Glue down your pieces. I waited until my card was completely dry before doing this.
Take your markers and start decorating your paper cutouts!
