Mason Jar Snow Globe

With snow right around the corner - or in your own backyard - what better craft to do than celebrate the cold fluff? With only a handful of things, you can make your own snow globe - or could you make it an ornament? It's up to you!

What you'll need:

  • Mason jar (or other small, clear container)

  • Jingle bells

  • Twine

  • Faux snow

  • Tiny holiday-themed decorations

What to do:

  • Wrap some twine around the jar lid (or container opening) a few times, then tie it off.

  • Add bells to the end of the twine. These can hang however close or far to the top you'd like them to be.

  • Add faux snow to the bottom of your jar, then position your decorations inside on the snow. I used some hot glue to make sure everything stayed in place.

  • Twist on your lid (or whatever opening you had for your snowglobe).

  • Proudly display your new creation!

Snow globes are fun for everyone, and this one is nice because it doesn't require water. You don't have to worry about any sort of liquidy mess! If you chose to make an ornament, did you glue your items in place? Or even in your snow globe, you can glue them too! What decorations did you use inside? I'd love to see your creation!
