WOOD105: Planers, Jointers, and Material Prep
Woodshop Series

Wood planers shave and smooth wood surfaces in order to make them uniform. You can then use a jointer together with the planer to create smooth, flat boards from potentially bowed and warped wood. Learning these tools is critical to your success as a woodworker, thus they are very useful skills to learn.
WRK105 covers the planers within the wood shop, alongside jointers, theories on material prep, and how to use machines safely.
